Staff were supportive, and the free parking was available. Their doorman is top, btw! A good breakfast, lots of meals. We loved the Chinese cuisine in the restaurant. Recommend this place.

Staff were not as professional as the last few times I have stayed at the hotel. English skills were unacceptable in some instances (room service). Hotel limo wreaked of cigarette smoke upon pickup from airport.

The amenities were luxurious and exclusive. The Spa & wellness centre was top-notch, with massages and a sauna available. The indoor heated swimming pool was great for relaxing, and there were plenty of sun loungers available. The restaurant had an extensive menu with a great bar/lounge area and a snack bar. The best part of our stay was the room advantages , which included private facilities and an in-room breakfast. The location advantages were also perfect, with easy access to public transportation and nearby restaurants.

The only issue we experienced was the lack of English-speaking staff. Although the service was impeccable, there were a few misunderstandings that were difficult to communicate.

The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Shanghai, making it easy to explore the city. With two nearby subway stations, getting around is a breeze. The rooms are comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower is great. The staff speaks English well and is friendly, ready to assist with any needs.

The restaurant and bar service could be improved, with some communication difficulties and a lackluster experience compared to other Marriott properties.

This hotel provided a luxurious experience with exclusive amenities such as a spa and wellness centre, indoor swimming pool, and sauna. The service was exceptional, and the staff was able to fulfill our every need. We particularly enjoyed the massage service and the sun loungers by the heated swimming pool.

The only minor issue we encountered was the restaurant service. While the food was delicious, the in-room breakfast took longer than expected to arrive.

Loved staying at a luxury hotel in an excellent location. The staff was friendly, and they provided us with two complimentary drinks and snacks during our stay. The hotel had a beautiful pool with a hot tub and fantastic gym facilities.

There were some minor issues during our stay. Our room was slightly outdated and lacked charging ports on both sides of the bed.

Convenient Location & Friendly Staff

During my city trip, I stayed at a hotel that had a prime location, close to malls and metro stations. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable during my stay. They were knowledgeable about the local area and gave great recommendations on where to go and what to see.

My experience was marred by the hotel's swimming pool rules. All guests had to wear swimming caps, which seemed unnecessary and a waste of money.

The pool incident at the Hongta Hotel was a disappointment. They required me to wear a swimming cap, even though my hair was tied up and I didn't plan to put my head under the water. However, the location was good, and the room was still nice. I'll recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was the best we've ever had. The hotel facilities were also top notch - the gym was open 24 hours a day and had everything we needed. We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the bathroom which was well appointed. Additionally, the indoor pool was superb, and not too crowded. The hotel's location was perfect as it was near to a metro station that had a direct line to both airports.
